Southern Peripheral Road to be redesigned in its entirety? Will it bring new opportunities for Investors?
In a recent article, the Times of India discussed the latest developments in the construction of Gurugram, the southern peripheral road, which will be revamped in the coming months and will run from Faridabad Road to NH-48. On Friday as noted, GMDA officials who were present at the meeting with Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said.
The official presented a plan to enhance the section between Faridabad Road and Vatika Chowk at the Gmda meeting. At a cost of Rs540 crore, flyovers were built at five major intersections roads.
Earlier, officials were looking into the possibility of both flyovers and underpasses at the intersection. They chose flyovers at the underpasses because they were concerned that waterlogging during the monsoon would make it impossible for heavier vehicles to travel the length.
According to the allegation, a proposal was made to upgrade the length by building flyovers over five intersecting roads since the technical viability of these roadways was judged to be greater. Despite the chairman’s approval of the idea, he insisted that it be enlarged to encompass the full stretch of SPR road between Faridabad and NH-48.
In addition, a request to dispatch 100 minibuses for gurugram man services was authorised during the meeting. The city’s 32 feasible routes, according to the chief executive officer, have been discovered, and the money earned from minibus services has increased from 11-12 per kilometre to 41 per kilometre, he told Khattar. Currently, the cost of operating the services is 70 rupees per kilometre.
Furthermore, authorities requested during the conference that a design for a 28-kilometer-long metro network be produced and forwarded to the centre. The project will be approved on the basis of give-in principles, according to the union administration and authorities.
Can the approaching real estate investor take use of the SPR road’s renovating structure, which has been approved by a government official?
Well, to talk of the connection of the same, which has been improved to currently include five key important routes, has undoubtedly provided buyers an advantage. If the metro convenience is constructed and built as predicted in the meeting, it may benefit both future property purchasers and possible investors. SPR road can also provide an opportunity for real estate market appreciation in the future, depending on how the reconstruction goes. Which is also dependent on realtors’ interests in purchasing property and developing new projects, as well as the balance of developing projects with commercial and residential convenience.
